My name is Alexis Stearns. I am 19 years old and currently attending the University of Central Florida. I live in DeLand, Florida with my family. I have one dog named Samson. I am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I love the Florida Gators and enjoy going to the football games. I also enjoy anything to do with water and sports. My favorite water sport is knee boarding. I would love to work at an elementary school whether public or private. I would prefer to work at an all girls school because I feel that I can relate to the girls better, but I also feel that I could be a great teacher for young boys. I want to be a teacher because I believe that how you were raised and what you have been taught when you were young will shape the rest of your life. I want to be part of that experience.
